Got half a ton of copper kicking about? ;)

Alas no... they did donate a large stack of old lead-acid batteries a while back as I was weighing in my own little collection, that bought a couple of beers.

If the tyre are at low pressure, is there a chance of them snagging on the outer bits of angle?

Shouldn't, however the framework is substantial enough to allow some trimming if required, would have been nice to actually see one in the flesh so to speak, pretty sure my guesstimation will be ok

Looks brilliant.

I intend to do some videos I'll put on YouTube.

Current vehicles in the list to test:

- Ninety with ATBs front & rear

- Puma 90 with traction control

-Puma 90 with traction control & ATB's front & rear

-Freelander 1 with traction control

-L405 Range Rover

-p38 Range Rover with 4 channel traction control (assuming it's fixed!!!)

-JB74w Jimny with traction control

Might see if I can rustle up a D2 and a Td5 Defender with TCS as well and perhaps a Freelander 2. There seems to be videos of modern/new vehicles online, but I've not seen any for older stuff. I reckon the Freelander 1 might surprise a few people.

A late model RRC with rear TC would be a good find if possible.

I'd be interested to see how that stacked up against modern systems - mine was surprisingly good off road, and useful for slippy conditions/lead-footed departures  on road too.

I suppose you are busy putting that 1UZ in Sid.

Arh carp I've just realised he's probably going to call all those freebies he's given me and keep me there until the 1UZ is running.

Err 4 would mean the car would never get out which defeats the point of the test.....just saying.
