Bowie69 Posted November 28 Posted November 28 If the tyre are at low pressure, is there a chance of them snagging on the outer bits of angle? Quote

Shouldn't, however the framework is substantial enough to allow some trimming if required, would have been nice to actually see one in the flesh so to speak, pretty sure my guesstimation will be ok Regards Stephen 2 Quote

I intend to do some videos I'll put on YouTube. Current vehicles in the list to test: - Ninety with ATBs front & rear - Puma 90 with traction control -Puma 90 with traction control & ATB's front & rear -Freelander 1 with traction control -L405 Range Rover -p38 Range Rover with 4 channel traction control (assuming it's fixed!!!) -JB74w Jimny with traction control Might see if I can rustle up a D2 and a Td5 Defender with TCS as well and perhaps a Freelander 2. There seems to be videos of modern/new vehicles online, but I've not seen any for older stuff. I reckon the Freelander 1 might surprise a few people. 3 Quote
Bowie69 Posted November 29 Posted November 29 A late model RRC with rear TC would be a good find if possible. 1 Quote

I'd be interested to see how that stacked up against modern systems - mine was surprisingly good off road, and useful for slippy conditions/lead-footed departures on road too. 2 Quote
Popular Post Stellaghost Posted November 29 Popular Post Posted November 29 Rollers finished Some small holes drilled above pins Why you ask !!! For spraying lubricant so that bearings can be lubricated through capillary attraction 40" tyre looks like it will fit armoured cable wire to hold everything in place Completed @Chicken Drumstick when I get a bit of free time I will clean up a few spare rollers and post them down Regards Stephen 5 1 Quote

Some vehicles have more than 4 wheels, just sayin... Anyway @Chicken Drumstick they are winging their way south now, on top of some carpet ontop of some counter tops, ontop of a table, ontop of some boxes of dead bambi in the back of the Argocat ontop of a trailer behind the Range Rover. Once again an absolute pleasure to catch up with you @Stellaghost and thanks for the refreshments and freebies. You are one of a kind. Always welcome down south. 5 1 Quote
