Peter
I have a RR classic auto box with associated cooler and it has the oil temp sensor attached - from what I can work out all this used to do was go to a flashy light.. Has anyone, successfully been able to fit a decent temp gauge in the dash area, to it. I would like to monitor the temp of the oil when off/on road so I don't roast the gears. Can't find much about this cooler in the .pdf manauls on the net, and definitely no info on the plug or cable to the flashy light apart from usual wiring diagrams. BTW I do not want to wire it up to a flashy light thingy, but as mentioned want accurate temp readings. My quest awaits your knowledge. DEANO3528
ISTR there is a problem fitting a gauge because the flow reverses through the cooler when the box locks up. Maybe Ashcrofts would provide more concrete info.
