siearl
Hi all, Looking at doing a few patches to the middle cross member and was wondering if someone can point me in the direction of what to use. There is only a few patches that need it, so does not really justify putting a new one on.

jjojjas
I found a bloody great hole in mine when I changed the tank. It was completely hidden by the tank. i guess you can get replacement ones, if so then they would be relatively easy to fit once you removed the tank, access ain't too bad then. As I found mine unexpectedly and had just coughed up for a new tank and fittings I chose to weld a ugly great lump of plate to it. Can't recall the thickness, but I couldn't cut it with the tin snips so it was obviously too thick! the rest of it was solid so I wasn't too bothered about just patching it.
