V8 into 80 inch chassis

I've bought a chassis/rollcage which used to be a trials motor but was stripped of all parts. I've got all the running gear from a 3.5 1971 Range Rover manual. I've fitted the front and rear axles, suspension and steering without any problems, but the engine and gearbox looks a very large lump to fit into my chassis which is only 80 inch wheelbase.

I've been told i need a 101 bell housing and mainshaft. Does anyone know if this is correct and if so, where I might get them?
