Wanderer
HI All, While many of you were enjoying the lanes of Derbyshire on Sunday morning we had a get together of the various vehicular user groups to look for common ground on the way forward for laning in Derbyshire. Also how we should respond to the draft ROWIP (Rights Of Way Improvement Plan) that Derbyshire CC has produced. Parts of it don't bode very well for what is left over nor the DMMO claims that are awaiting decisions. The advice that went out from this meeting has been collated and put on the following webpage on the GLASS website. http://www.glass-uk.org/index.php?option=c...amp;Itemid=1288 Please take a look and we need to make some sort of responses to Derbyshire County Council to ensure that the ROWIP meets our expectations. All County Councils have to treat everyone equally yet DCC seem to be flying in the face of that. You don't need to live in Derbyshire for your views to be taken into account. Responses have to be in by the 11th March. Even if you only record a couple of the points then that's fine. NERCA being passed wasn't the end of the battle. Please don't be complacent with this one thinking that everyone else will write in. Ed
Turbocharger
Are there really only 7km of BOATs in Derbyshire left? That's saddening. Do some of my former favourite routes including Roych Clough come within this, or are they omitted as UCRs? Letter written and posted anyway, the report doesn't even mention us if it doesn't have to.
