freeagent
after hearing good things about them, I ordered an XDA Orbit from O2... http://mobileguide.o2.co.uk/devices/device...d=401&tab=1 it comes with UK wide satnav, and is supposed to be very good... (ideal as every time i get lost or stuck, my Garmin is either at home, or in the other car) but has anyone run it with memory map? any other handy XDA Orbit tips or links would be most welcome.... TJ101
Yep, i run a Orbit, upgraded from a XDA11 The Co-pilot software that comes with it, is not so good, binned that, and loaded Tom Tom 6, as better or rather more used to TT, Still have Memory Map on the XDA, so doubt if i will swop over, Being a smaller screen does not help, and the sim card/sd card holder is very fiddly, apart from that, getting used to it

You need to buy a SD card (went for a 2GB) and download TT via the activesync, (though i did it via a SD slot on the printer) did all europe, and taken up 1162mb,,, so far works fine, no problem, or lag !! Se7enUp
I've got one and to be honest....its the beat phone I've ever owned I actually quite like the CoPilot GPS software. I've used it for several longish journeys and its performed really well. The phone itself is quite small (for a PDA) and seems to work pretty well. Get a case for it though, as it looks like it would scratch pretty easily.
ColinTheCop
I stuck with the co-pilot on mine and have no problems with it.... The internal ariel also seems pretty good as I have no trouble with dropping the signal unlike my old garmin. If you already use Tom Tom I guess it's what you're used to.
