Fatboy
News Article I suppose that is one way to get publicity.... but you would have thought that someone would twig that that is going to offend someone! Anybody want to see if they can come up with something better??
filthy boy
More likely that pratt of a councilor will give people a bad feeling about Stornoway! Has he got nothing else to get worked up about?? FB PS Where is Bonnatti? Where the residents upset?
Pyrover
This has probably got more to do with being linked to 4X4's than anything else. I do think that Land Rover were a bit slow though, they should have said that it was not named after the Scottish town but rather the Canadian village in Le Granit (the granite) Regional County Municipality in the Estrie region in Quebec. Ironically the only hideous grey thing in Stornoway happens to be the council offices... perhaps they should have named it "Stornoway Council Office Grey". Mark90
I went to Stornaway once and it was definately a duller grey than Bonnatti.
BogMonster
Maybe they should call it DurhaminNovember Grey... Next thing will be the residents of Pompeii complaining that Vesuvius Orange is causing them distress and alarm because it reminds them of their town being buried in a lava flow

fisha
The new Freelander in Stornoway Grey is actually quite a nice colour.
