Tonk
both myself and jon white run lt77's mated to series t/box, its the series g/box that is the weak link, t/box are well strong enough.
RPR
Is there much that can be done to the tdi's in terms of power boost ? My diesel knowledge is confined to the Cummins 5.9 but as I understand it, most diesel engines will take more fuel and air for a good jump in torque and power without getting into danger too quickly. More fuel with pump and injector upgrades and more air with a bigger turbo, or more bost if it will take it and a bigger intercooler if you can fit it are the general routes but I don't recal seeing much in the way of ads in the landy mags for anything but chips on the TD5. I am seriously considering a 300 tdi/R380/Series t-box combo but I have to say I haven't been overly impressed by the tdi's I have driven. They're torquey, but not so much more powerful than my 2.25 in my view. I'm sure that will put the fox among the hens but that has been my experience and thus I am wondering about ways to pump it up a bit.
