help needed please

hi there i have a discovery 1 and the blower has just stopped working (give up the ghost) has ne1 got ne ideas on wot I should be looking for please.......................

Firstly check the fuse. If the fuse is OK check that there is a power reaching the motor with the switch on

thank you it was working fine i put it on worked for approx 3 secs and then just stopped. How do I check power getting to it. sorry for all the questions........

You will need to attach a multimeter to the terminals on the heater. There should be a 12v feed direct from the fuse board (purple and green I think) and two other wires (grey with a trace colour, but I can't remember which ones which) that control the speed of the fan. These two terminals should show a decent feed when the switch is in the on position.
