FridgeFreezer
Well I've tried 3/8" and I've tried M10 but the clutch slave cylinder I've got seems more like M12 but is a finer thread than anything I've got to hand. Can anyone tell me WTF it is so I can get a pipe to suit?
freeagent
is it metric fine?
FridgeFreezer
Not sure, I can't find anything with the right thread to screw into it and obviously don't want to knacker the threads by trying too hard!
steve b
hi IIRC it's m12 metric fine can't give you tpi but pretty sure it's metric fine .... I guess you have the series pedal box/ m/cyl I think you could use later mastercyl and change the pushrod ?? then use a defender/disco pipe ? How far off are you to finishing your 109 then? 109 csw ....the best land rover ever! cheers steveb
FridgeFreezer
So looks like M12F is the top candidate, next question: is it likely to be a standard fitting stocked by a car parts place? B)--> QUOTE(steve b @ Mar 25 2007, 07:41 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How far off are you to finishing your 109 then? Not too far, hopefully by the end of the week I'll be really close to done (watch now as it rains non-stop all week )
steve b
you've got 303 volvo portal's on your 109 haven't you? what sort of gearing ratio,s do they have in comparison to the mog 404's (still haven't got mine home yet - soon tho)? It's always a real boost when your project is close to going on the road ( they're rarely finished ..mine isn't ) so press on dude the end is in sight cheers steveb
