selectcase
I ordered genuine big end bolts and main bolts for my 200tdi re-build but have been sent what i think are non-genune items. the originals were ATLAS but the replacements are METALAC they have a webiste but its brazillian and i was wandering if anyone knew if thier products were ok. btw land rover will only sell main bearing bolts in packets of 20!! at £2.15 each + vat Why 20 it hardly engourages you go go genune when you have to buy unrealistic quantities
s2hotdog
As long as there are the same grade and brought from a reputable supplier - I would of thought they will be ok

Les Henson
They would have been made to Land Rovers specifications, so I doubt there's likely to be a problem with the quality of them. A box of 20 is a trade pack, and is what Land Rover would supply to the likes of Bearmach, this is very common for parts that are not often asked for - at least they sell a whole box. I wanted the durite plug (that connects the wiring to the back of an alternator), and had to buy a whole box of them as well - even though I only needed one. Les.
