LH gearbox to exhaust mounting 2.5TD

Recommended Posts

I'm after some photo's of the subject mounting/bracket, as fitted to a 2.5TD engined 110, need to see where the gearbox bracket bolts to & the route of the exhaust pipe.

reason -- the bracket on mine is broken & I can't figure out how it's meant to fit together, got all the bits & new bracket/rubber bushes.

cheers in anticipation :i-m_so_happy:

Right I got a few pics here - I'll upload some resized versions and if you need the full size (2576x1932) PM me an E-mail addy please :) And if you need anything else (More close ect...) Let me know and I'll crawl back under again.

I found the Exhaust isn't actually attached around the gearbox on mine (Gearbox has been refitted though so that could explain it) but I think I found the bracket you needed, I took a load of pics anyway of some of the area - hope they can be of use to you :)

No difference, my exhaust system is still the TD version except for the downpipe from turbo to first joint, all the mounts are TD type, all genuine factory built Tdi's have the hook & ruber ring type mounts.

cheers for the thought anyway.
