ibexman Posted October 3, 2005 Share Posted October 3, 2005 I need to change atf in the Gkn overdrive i see thers a level /filler plug but no drain off , should i buy a new bottom cover gasket before i take it apart just incase it falls to peices??? western Posted October 3, 2005 Share Posted October 3, 2005 A new gasket would be a good idea, just had to replace the solenoid & speed sensor on my OD, solly wouldn't engage & the plastic upper part of speed sensor could be rotated in the metal part -not meant to do that, this should help Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
JST Posted October 3, 2005 Share Posted October 3, 2005 i have changed the oil in mine several times as per the procedure above and used the same gasket from new - no leaks for it yet (touching wood) the filler/level one though thats a different story, its got a home made (inner tube ) washer to stop it leaking!!!
