Katie C
Hi chaps, its been quite a while since this thread started. Not sure anyone will be around to answer this: Can I put Avon traction control 700 16's on standard Series 2a rims? The alternative is 600 16's but, the car has LWB rims on at the moment which we want to replace with standard. Cheers, Katie

Flip Flip
Hi, along the same lines, can I fit Deestone 7.50 x 16 tyres on my lightweight. Currently it has 6.50 x 16 standard military Goodyear ones but they are impossible to get hold of now. Or do I need different rims?
Stellaghost
You can fit them but you will need longwheel base or defender rims regards Stephen
Chicken Drumstick
7.50’s should be fine. It’s 235/85R16’s that want a wider rim. Although this does depend what rim width you are currently running.
