Here is my 1961 Series II. Now it must be said far more Series III given the amount of parts I've changed in the last 18 years. I drive it on a daily basis. First time I off roaded it was an RTV with EMORC back in 1989 at Ropsley quarry, I've never looked back since!

Here's my newest addition to the family.

1983 SIII 109 x-MOD. Picked it up from a fellow that has owned it for the last 12 years, however it sat for the last 4-5 years.

British Army brought a bunch of these over to Canada - Cold Lake Alberta for Army training exercises.

Here is the sad old chap before I had to move him onto pasteurs new. After 9 years of ownership (and a lot of work) he has moved further West (and a lot further maybe - Wisconsin?) due to the needs of opening up cashflow ;)

Most of Shire will recognise him but a 'new' replacement is on the cards in June. 'Cartman 2' - is a LWB truck cab Series 2 (~'67) ex RAF :P

Thanks sheeppimp!

I try and look after my 80; had it since I was 17.. thats 13 years now.., learned to drive in it.. etc. Use it every day as well, quite reliable really.

I had a 73' petrol 109 once, never got on with it tho.. to slow and quite rusty in places...
