If people aren't happy i would rather everyone was Mildly miffed off with just me than get into being Mildly miffed off with a whole "group" of people! You are welcome to discuss what you do and don't like, but this isn't design by comitee so i won't be making changes based on this thread. I hope this sounds like a consistent approach even if some think it isn't very fair! Would have preferred slightly smaller X-Eng logo on front and just the flying hammers big logo on the back. I can't be doing with all the website bits and lots of writing. I like the flying hammers logo and I just think all the extra writing ruins a good logo. Likewise a small X-Eng logo on the front gives Simon a return for his generous offer without it turning into an X-Eng in your face t-shirt. Black is carp for working in, carp for socialising in and looks carp. Needs to be black on white, blue on white, red on blue, yellow on blue or yellow on black Huge flying spanners logo - google search takes care of the website X eng logo on the sleeve and a tiny ickle wee double x enge logocoupled to HFS logo on the breast. Black shirts hide a multitude of dirt and grime. Good to see you are being autocratic with the decision making. Makes life so much easier. That way we get to print so much faster. I've had a load of emails accusing me of hijacking the thing and dominating the shirts with X-Eng logos - essentially mirroring Fridge Freezers and other peoples posts. That was really not my intention, however, the cost of this is high in X-Eng budget terms and the only way I can justify it as a company expense is to get advertising exposure from it. If it would make people happier, scrub any mention of X-Eng. I'll print my own shirts for Billing and make a private contribution to Jez. IMHO you are a true member of this forum and with or without X-eng you would still be contributing to it. A positive action being clouded by BullPOO if you ask me Mr Pugwash you design what ya want and Mr Si you do what you have to do. You can please some of the people some of the time - but you can't please all of the people all of the time, esp the daft ones who don't think However, I am daft - and I can be pleased most of the time, the rest of the time I am still daft, but can only be slightly pleased, whereas the rest of the time I may be pleased, or not but probably grumpy, my wine glass is now empty so I am not pleased now. This is an X-Eng Fault, so expect a claim off me too. ................Unless Pugwash just prints the T SHIRTs............. Do people not understand the basics of business. I'm no business man but even I can see you need to justify your investment. At the end of the day the only concern should be in getting Jez to Russia and back. With a few bottles of jungle juice. Jim It's a shame your good intentions are turning into an LRO type discussion. If you had complaining customer who complained about minor things, all you do is say yes your idea has been noted and I'll give it the attention it deserves. Perhaps in hindsight you and Si could of designed the shirt offline and then put it up for sale. Then people have the option to buy or not. I was (with my picky design head on) only after swapping the "Ladoga 07" text with the team name but as most people seem happy with the initial design then I'll echo what others have said which is "get 'em printed" Oh and I haven't got any wine at all I will be writing a stern letter to my MP...
