freeagent
Does anyone else know about this... http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17723202 it looks like the government have decided to scrap fuel duty on small users of Vege oil.. if you use under 2500 litres per year, you will no longer have to pay duty.. western
in the link to the other forum on reply quoted this 'provided each producer does not produce more than 2,500 litres per year on a rolling 12-month basis' note it refers to producers not users
smoggy
The term producer in the above is somewhat misleading, in so much that........ If you purchase veg oil from the supermarket (not intended for us as a fuel) and then use it for fuel.......you become a producer! An anouncement is due "in the summer" and the above is only a possible outcome, all be it a very possible outcome If anyone intends using SVO or indead any fuel substitute please ensure you inform HMC&R before you do, and also check out some of the very good forums for advice as it isn't always a bung it in the tank and go job.
