DEANO3528 Posted August 6, 2005 Share Posted August 6, 2005 See if I can get the first event up! Suffolk Land Rover Owners Club is holding it's annual Charity Driving Day on 14th August 2005. The theme of the day is for SLROC members to give visitors, rides around our offroad course at Newbourne, Suffolk (Grid Ref: TM271438) in exchange for a small donation. There will be many different vehicles for people to sit in and three of our 4 courses will be open. Tombola, Raffle with Land Rover bike as 1st prize (generously donated by Lindacre) and various other stalls inc BBQ, Lindacre (Land Rover dealer) etc. This is taking place on SUNDAY 14TH AUGUST from 10 am. Bring the kids' bikes along and they can play on our 'White course' out of harms way. If you can't make that day, then please come along and support us at Eye Show & Country Fair, Eye, Suffolk on the BAnk Holiday weekend August 28th & 29th, as we add to the last 2 years' total to our charities of £3000! Plenty of pictures and info on our website at www.slroc.com. So if you're in the area then come and say hello, and help us raise loads of dosh for EACH (East Anglian Childrens Hospice) and CLIMB (Children Living with Inherited MetaBolic Diseases), our chosen charities for 2005.
