Mooseles
Just wanted to say a brief "Hi" to fellow Defender owners. About to take delivery of my first Defender! (LWB XS TD5 model), upgrading from my old Freelander. We're both very excited about forthcoming ownership - It's being prepped in the local Land Rover dealership as I type (having 4 x folding side steps added, and rear spot light fitted). Only wish I could afford the A Bar, bash plate, front spots, roof rack, high level air intake etc. etc! Oh well, at least I'll soon have the vehicle! Looking forward to reading posts. JSG
Welcome Once you've had one there is no cure That's true. I missed my old TD5 110 so much over the past couple of years I've had to order another Defender. Welcome.

FridgeFreezer
Always good to welcome members of a superior wheelbase to the fray Of course it's not quite a 109 but I'll let you off 'cos it's still a LWB
Mo Murphy
Maurice and Lesly, Welcome to the forum 110s are barges that should be filled with coal and driven into the canal Don't worry about toys for it, there's plenty of time to buy all those Mo

Mooseles
Maurice and Lesly,Welcome to the forum 110s are barges that should be filled with coal and driven into the canal Don't worry about toys for it, there's plenty of time to buy all those Mo I sense a smidgeon of rivalry 'tween 90 & 110 owners! Have I done the right thing in buying a 9 seater for my short 1 mile journey to work?!!!?? We do have 3 dogs however - so I guess I can justify the purchase for them

Les Henson
It's the same with these petrol heads - always assuming they have better engines than us oil-burners. Just wait 'til it rains, we always have the last laugh! Les.
JSG
How the order coming along JSG ?? It's at the 'fingers crossed' stage My dealer says it should still arrive sometime this month, they've just had a 90 CSW XS in that is being demo'd on trade plates (I've had a spin) but no-one seems to have sight of a 110 yet. I'm slightly concerned about that as I seem to remember they said in March that they had some customer Defenders due in April but none have arrived yet. I'm going to Eastnor on Weds for the launch so I'm hoping to get the chance to crawl over a 110. I liked the feel of the 90 XS - my last 110 was an ex demo CSW with extras put on for demo but pre-XS so didn't have central locking, electric windows etc. I'll keep you all posted on progress.
