Mooseles Posted May 13, 2007 Share Posted May 13, 2007 Collected our Defender from our local LR dealer on Friday (As agreed with the salesman), and found: 1). Vehicle wasn't taxed. They had to send a minion to the post office whilst we waited. 2). Service book wasn't stamped. Despite us examining our new purchase up on ramps in the workshop 2 days previously. 3). Tool kit (Wheel brace, levers etc.) missing. We were given a new kit from a new Defender in the showroom when we complained. 4). No Socket/Key for the locking wheel nuts. This is going to be ordered this week. 5). No Radio code. Again - this is going to be ordered this week. We did get a "free" wheelcover for the spare wheel however! Droitwich Land Rover (Worcestershire) I had heard that they (Droitwich Land Rover) came bottom in a poll of dealerships for after sales service - not sure how true this is!
