What does everyone think of Scropions new alloy wheels ?

That they didn't take to much designing? :D I dred to think how much they cost though I do like the idea of ally Mach 5's

Yeah my thoughts too - need to get someone to test them out I suppose - anyone got SR as their sponsors ?

Prefer steelies myself.

Besides I think 4 or 5 different manufacturers make/have made Mach 5 a-likes.

Anyone know was Matt Lee the first person to make this style of wheel?

Not much difference in price:

Mach 5's £115............................................................Alloy Zu's £99

Quite alot of difference when pictured next to each other though:

A bit like the old Minilites but with less spokes. Did anyone else have a 'thing' for 'Minilite Maggie'? :wub:

Oh! and by the way - I think that they look GREAT - but somehow I don't like the idea of off-road alloys...

Looks like a small offset compared to the average Mach 5 - shame that.

10.4 kg is a pretty good weight if they are plenty strong enough - what sort of weight are 16x8 Mach 5s ?
