pigster
I wasn't aware that freelanders had a vvc engine... I know they use the K series 1.8 rover lump which is at best not brilliant... but a vvc - wouldn't of thought so. sticky
Thats the vehicle VIN u have supplied! The engine number you will find on the front face rhs (looking from the front of the car) of the engine block stamped on its side but vertically top to bottom - engine number starts 18K4F for a non vvc and 18K4K for a vvc engine, cheers e
elmscroft
Thanks Pigster and Sticky, the confusion was caused by the good old haynes manual. Many Thanks Mike
