MJIbex
This should be good fun to try and get out tomorrow morning before work! The poor bloke driving it took a bit of a swim and was lucky that it caught up on the metal post holding up the pond edge. And the recovery vehicle + a few bodies, can't get anything bigger in the garden. What do you reckon the chances are? Mark.

western
I'd put some boards/planks under the forward wheels & centre cutting head & move the strap further forward then when pulling it should lift the rear end up & the cutting head should clear the edge & not dig itself into the bank. BoatBuoy
Could use scaffold tube as a lever from the bank to the front wheels, to lift the front end up a bit to make dragging it out a bit easier. Would probably need some board to stop the tube digging in to the bank. Or tirfor winch & anchor?
