Guest diesel_jim
You'll need a pair of V8 chassis mounts (I've got a pair cut off of my old v8 90 is you need any), a V8 gearbox (LT85 would be best), the gearbox mounts up onto the holes already in the chassis, so no messing around there. You'll need an exhaust, although you could bodge the V8 downpipe to mate with the TDi exhaust; not sure what the gas flow is like on a Tdi one though. new radiator, depending on what V8 you use (if it's a3.9 EFI) then use the turboD radiator... full width and it's got an in-built oil cooler (like the Tdi one has) which lines up with the 3.9 cooler pipes a treat. a bit of underbonnet wiring to make it work, and a fuel pump (again, depending on whether it's an injection or carb engine) oh... and plenty of ££££ for the fuel! russ1
Thats magic m8. Will have a really good look into that now, may be daft since its got a new 200tdi in but you can beat the power and sound of a v8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks very much
