Hi All,

Just fitted a brand new CB ... a midland98 ... I have a problem that the sound is intermittent.

Sometimes i turn it on and its fine and other times its silent .. I set up the SWR and all that malarky. If the signal is bad or non-existent do you still get sound (i.e. noise) same thing with a bad earth ?

Anyone got any ideas ?

Thanks

Where have you mounted the aerial? |I roof mounted one last weekend and didn't have a good earth = poor/non existent reception/transmission.
