sea daddy
I just installed some parabolic springs I received from Atlantic British, forest green color for rear springs and grey for front springs. Once installed, my 79 series 3 LWB santana sits slightly higher on the passenger side. I noticed that the rear springs are marked "N/S" and "O/S". Currently the N/S spring is mounted on the drivers side on the LHD vehicle. Why am I sitting higher on the passenger side? Should I just switch out the rear springs, putting the O/S on the drivers side? Any help is truly appreciated.....calling me a novice would be an overstatement. Les Henson
O/S (off-side) is the drivers side of the vehicle - determined by how you would correctly park - the passenger side being on the Near (closest to the kerb) Side. Off side is Off The Kerb. N/S and O/S refer to the vehicle and not it's position when parked. It looks like you just put the springs on the wrong side - I bet that's a tad annoying Les. sea daddy
Thanks Les. I just finished changing the springs to the opposite side, sitting pretty! Now on to the next project......
