Jim is referring to the shaft attached to the diaphragm on a Bosch VE pump. It has an eccentric cone on the end that control the fueling rate as boost increases. Guest diesel_jim Posted July 23, 2007 Share Posted July 23, 2007 Do you mean this bit: you can see that "normally" the dot is at the top, closest to the engine block. it's turned around to between 3 o'clock and 6 o'clock for extra oomph.
