Part number wanted

Not much shown on the parts manual:

try giving Stephen Cahill a shout. he's a Canadian chap who exports the 2.8's directly form Brazil to worldwide. he should be able to find the exact part number and supply it for you.

That diagram doesn't seem to be of a vgt as i know one.

Does to me - the vacuum control arm operates the pitch of the flap on the inlet

We used to use them at work, now we dont, read into that what you will

maybe i saved the wrong page... there were two turbos, i chose that one, mayve t'is the other (the picture is slighly different) although with just as little detail.

Duh! that's the exhaust side.

I think that could be the non vairiable geometry turbo off the lower powered version of the 2.8

I managed to get through to someone at the technical help desk at garret earlier, he started off all helpfull and freindly then after id given him the part no (about 3 times) he turned into a right arse demanding to know where i got it from.

Very little but by the tone of his voice, something very interesting must of flashed up on his pc when he typed the number in.

I've been expecting a knock at the door from the garret gestapo all afternoon but they must have better things to do thankfully.
