Orgasmic Farmer
Someone I know has the possibility to acquire a BOC argoshield bottle. Are they stamped in some way, thus linking them to a particular account, or will they be able to simply swap it for a full one at a mates workshop while no-one is looking? This is all purely hypothetical of course

Hybrid_From_Hell
Nope, A Bottle is a bottle, they are not linked to an account. What IS linked to an account is the gas type andSize, so "In Theory" a empty bottle of the right size and Gas type could be swapped under an account that someone had that spec and size bottle for. However, as you say this is all purely hypothetical of course Nige
Les Henson
Any numbers on it will be related to production date of the cylinder and other relative safety info. Les.

This is all purely hypothetical of course  As everybody else said no numbers are checked when taking bottles in - out . However unless Your BOC has that Bottle Type on it they won't exchange the bottle I believe as I had to use a friends acount to get one filled !
