chrisoleary
Anyone know the size of these bolts or where I can get them?
Les Henson
Do you mean the two that hold the top to the bottom? Mine are studs and nuts. I bought 4 from Bearmach a couple of years ago when I bought my door tops. Les.
02GF74
as far as I can tell, these are studs welded to the tops as ^^^^ says. I reckon they are some UNF size; and from memory the nut is 11/16 AF so assuming it is standard sized nut, the bolt diamater can be derived from that info. Les Henson
Alloy door tops have screwed in studs. Steel tops have them welded 02. Les.

rtbarton
The studs are stepped, UNF in Series vehicles, metric in later ones. IIRC 3/8 and 5/16 or M10/M8. This is a drawing of the ones I used to have made

NicTheOrange90
If the captive nut in the door (one of the two that holds the door top on) is no longer captive can they be 'got to' from the top? The stud in the diagram above just rotates and this indicates to me that the captive nut has broken free of its anchor.. Its a Mil door top, but assume they are same construction apart from the glass... Also one of the retaining strips for the glass seems to be missing at top and the glass vibrates, can I get series spares for these ? Called craddocks and they were not able to help?
