Guest WALFY
Looking at getting an 07 Defender but am unsure on the colour. Er indoors wants Cairns Blue but I'm looking at Rimini Red but I haven't actually seen 1 yet. If you have a 90XS in Blue or Red can you post a pic please so we can make our minds up
Guest WALFY
No one got a red 1 then
TJ101
That's why i did the vote a few months ago,, Cains and Java black came out joint first, the Rimini, did not do so well, Your choice of colours were exactly the same as mine, Think its about time you listened to your better half
BogMonster
A 110 in Rimini Red looks smart, there are a couple of 06MY ones here in that colour. I was thinking about getting that but eventually decided to go with Tonga Green as the next best thing to the best colour ever (Epsom Green, now discontinued)
TJ101
Found it This Thread
MJIbex
Have a look at White 90's 110 which is in Rimini - Rimini Red - it's a great colour. Mark

Guest WALFY
Tim Now seen a few pics of Rimini and it's not what I thought it was. So as much as I hate to say :o it er indoors gets her choice. Will give the bloke a call in the week. Shame about the wait. 14-16 wks
western
my mate Earl on here has a Cairns blue 110DC, looks well smart with alloys & body colour roof. would look just a good with white wolf wheels & white roof.
Happyoldgit
I bucked the trend here and got a Zermatt Silver 110 XS which I now find stands out well despite the zillions of other silver euroboxes on the road. Feels like the interior stays quite a bit cooler in direct sunlight than did my last two which were Java Black.
stumpy2268
I can do you a photo of a Cairns blue Bobtail :D
Guest WALFY
Suddenly Blue seems a very common colour.
stumpy2268
Suddenly Blue seems a very common colour. One benefit of buying Cairns blue is that I have a can of touch up paint for when Jo gets behind the wheel
Guest WALFY
I had thought of that. To be honest I'm glad she chose the Def over the Freelander, the last 4 or 5 cars we've had she has smacked the wingmirror in the first week. Didn't fancy shelling out for a new F/L wing mirror straight away. O/T Aid what time do you expect to touch down here on Fri. Will you require feeding or just beer
stumpy2268
So are you saying that you have already looked into the price of wing mirrors before deciding which car to buy ?! I assumed that broken mirrors were a thing of the past following the JST masterclass O/T Beer only required Friday.
Guest WALFY
Of course. Went to dealership. Asked 3 questions 1. Cost of car 2.Cost of servicing 3. Cost of wing mirrors

Exmoor Beast
Sorry, yeah I know Tim, sarcasm does translate into type well does it I saw the info at the Defender launch at Eastnor and told the marketing Bod they were mad for not making it years ago. Guest WALFY
The more pics of rimini red I see I wonder why I even considered it. It's a shame they don't do the old red like White90 or JST's. That is soooo much nicer
Turbocharger
About time LR started making this bodyshape as standard I reckon Which shape, Will? The factory 110 utility SW or the Exmoor Beast "post-sledgehammer" 110 utility SW? There are some .. ahem .. detail differences.
