Nick Ninety
In search of some fuel hose. Need about 1m to go from the filler to the tank...... Have a td5 tank in a galv 300TDI chassis and a 300TDI back body. Have used a series filler plate thingy mounted almost above the inlet to the td5 tank. Just need the hose. Any ideas where i can buy some online or around Chingford, Essex ? Work really gets in the way as I can't visit any suppliers during the week. Even struggle to get nuts and bolts locally because all the decent places are shut at the weekend. Thought it was time to start posting rather than just read like I did on the previous forum. What's the best photo hosting site currently, I'll post some pics. Cheers
western
What's the diameter of the pipe on the filler and tank ? 110's have a stepped rubber hose to join the 2, part number is NTC2357 or RRC4418 for a 130 if their of any use. as for photo hosting I use this one http://www.photobucket.com/register.php it's Free B)
Nick Ninety
Both the filler and tank look to be about 56mm. Thanks for the part numbers I'll have a look in microcat. I suspect they may be too short though. Have one of the stepped hoses off a series filler I think the smallest end fits the tank, but the other is too big and its not long enough. I'll post some pictures once I have got a photobucket account

Jon White
Ok I'm probably missing something here, but if you're running a 300TDi chassia and a 300Tdi body why not just run a 300 Tdi tank too???? Standard plumbing would then do the job surely? Jon
Nick Ninety
That would be far to easy.... The reasoning behind using a TD5 tank is 1. Better postioning. Tucked out of the way more, not hanging underneath the drivers seat. Hopefully less likely to get bashed or caught up. 2.Plastic, no rust issues. 3. Old tank was knackered and got a good deal on the TD5.
