TJ101
You're a brave chap to take that attitude with a brand new new-model vehicle with as yet unknown issues! See you point Stephen, but even if it is serviced/repaired by a specialist, the vehicle is still covered by the 3 year warranty, i certainly will be looking after mine, myself !! TJ101
would that not effect 3 year warranty???? Chris,, No, So long as a specialist carries out the services etc to manufacturers specifications, still under LR ( or any other makers ) warranty

And they tried to fob me off with a Peugeot loaner, but after a little discussion, drove back in a new HSE freebie (vast improvement on the old ones !!!) Happyoldgit
Oh joy. I just found a message on my answerphone from the manager of the main dealer bodyshop saying that they're all like that sir, we have sprayed additional wax in the past but at extra cost to the customer. Tried to call him back but he's not around so am waiting for him to ring me again.

Happyoldgit
you must be overcome with joy, does the quote above make it acceptable then????? I think not. Managed to speak to him again earlier. He said that as he hadn't seen the vehicle himself so was relying on what his foreman had told him after having my vehicle up on the lift last week. I asked if he would like to see the photos via e-mail I took when I had it up in the air too, he agreed and should now have them plus another link to this thread. He said he was going to have a word with the lady who deals with warranty claims.

Tim Can you not ask to see it on a ramp at the dealership. If not happy then you walk away with your loan car for a bit longer. Or is that not practicle

MRWOO
Booked mine in for a full steam/clean and chassis waxoyl, this includes all cavities (no dealer will bother with that, they probably wont have the lances) and bulk head £120. I couldn't do it my self at that price after bouying the waxoyl amd equipment. Ive done it a couple of time myself before on previous Drovers and I that cost me around the 50 quid mark. I'll not recommend the place until I get the evidence and some hopefully nice but not so shiny chassis pics up on here. Rich
