need4speed
When buying axles/diffs for my defender project, does it make a big difference if they utilise 3 or 4 bolt prop-shaft flanges? Is the 3 bolt design weak?

Porny
Did LR use 3 bolt flanges on props? Only on 300Tdi Discos... they have a rubber doughnut assembley that's supposed to reduce driveline noise/shunts.. Personnally I wouldn't bother with it... stick to the normal 4 bolt flange assembley.... plus to run a 3 bolt on a Defender you'd need a custom rear prop shaft.
