rob90 Posted September 10, 2007 Share Posted September 10, 2007 Hi everyone, Im after a little help realy I have to do my mates rear brakes on his 2000 1.8 freelander and realy after a bit of step by step advice realy im sure that they arnt that difficult but would like to have some idea before getting started if there is any tricks etc? andyb Posted September 12, 2007 Share Posted September 12, 2007 IIRC...... two cross headed screws to remove drum. Clean out the dust....wear a mask......and there is a small toothed wheel that you can 'flick' round with a flat bladed screwdriver to adjust the shoes. Also worth flap wheeling the drums to take the shine off, this will eliminate brake squeal. As Jules has said they are fairly easy really.
