gav-
how do u know how a diesel injector has failed. i have been told that when you take off the return pipe from the injector there should only be a weap of fuel coming from the top throughout the rev range. is this true? LandyManLuke
If it's a problem, take the injectors to a diesel injection specialist, they can check the spray pattern of each injector and then ultrasonically clean and service it, if needed. Don't be tempted to try looking at the spray pattern yourself, the pressure is high enough to force fuel through your skin etc, which would be nasty. western
Only way to tell if a injector is servicable is to have it checked for spray pattern/pressure & correct operation by a diesel specialist.
