vinny Posted September 17, 2007 Share Posted September 17, 2007 Bought a front bearmach replacement front prop for my 90. The Yokes were not in phase when I got it so split prop and put back together so both sides lined up... It has now developed a thrummming noice as if its unbalanced....... On the front prop you'll find the the diff pinion is probably high so the input and output are not parallel. So to stop vibration, the UJs are assembled out of phase, but at something like 30degrees* *This angle is probably completely wrong. You can compare to mine if ya want.
