Question For a Mate

All you good landrover people

I have a mate who wants to buy a 90 van - a good cheap 300TDI of TD5 through his company.

Then he wants to get it converted to a soft top with roll bars and seats in the back - as a toy etc and towing his boat short distances taking his dogs and kids out etc

So can anybody reccomend a good trade supplier to sell him the van and a conversion specialist to complete all of the alterations and conversion etc - based on personel experances

Also whats the best option regarding seats in the back - bench seats on the wheel boxes, remove bulkhead and forward facing seats?

What money should he ne budgeting for the van and conversion

Any replies and opinions much appreciated

look on Exmoor Trims site they sell nearly everthing he would need

then out with the spanners.

Sell the roof he takes off and away he goes.

As for the vehicle if he can claim the VAT(even better)

I would buy a truck cab. They are cheaper to buy than hardtops and already have the rear door for the soft top.

My company are just about to sell our one. It's a 2005 90 with rear seats, mohair hood and full rollcage. Only problem for you is that it's in Dublin, Ireland. All professionally installed.
