gobby
Hi, Having replaced the valve guides on my NAD head, I now find that the valves don't sit flat in the seat. Is it possible to drive these in slightly out of square? Whats the best way to fit them without the use of a flypress? Any help/advice appreciated. gobby
The seats should always be recut after replacing the guides to true them up. I was hoping that wasn't necessary Looks like this isn't the sort of job you take on in your shed then so the professionals might have to get their cut. Thanks for the response, Ian

white90
when I replaced Guides in an Allegro head(don't laugh) I just knocked one out at a time then put the new one in checking the level against the old one next to it.
