66gaza
Hi, I need a bigger bore clutch master cylinder as my 3/4" doesn't move my new slave far enough (yank box). I have looked and the series used a 7/8" and some a 1 1/8" for a brake master, these are single circuit . My slave is 1" and as far as I can find out has to move atleast 1" to operate clutch. So has anyone used one in a defender?. I appreciate the smaller the bore the less pressure is required but the longer the stroke has to be. The vehicle the clutch came from has a 7/8" bore but I don't know how much stroke. I will probably try the 7/8" first and if that doesn't work will try the bigger one, If they fit in the available space. So what do you all think?
