Control cable supplier needed

For a forthcoming product, I need something like this:

With a T handle that you pull out and twist to lock. There are loads of cable suppliers who will supply a cable made to spec, typically for about £40 in decent quantities. However, this is too much and they are too heavy duty!

I've seen something like this - a bit like a cross between a choke and bonnet release cable - attached to something else.

Any ideas?
