Can someone identify these Halfshafts?

A purchase off ebay, that would seem to have gone wrong? They were described as the Long and short uprated shafts for V8 90, 24 splined? Bonus i thought, just what i need to start sorting the axles out on a budget.............

Shaft 1

Length = 33" 23 splines one end, 10 splines the other.

Shaft 2

Length = 38" 24 splines either end. No oil seal area?

Ah but these have had the Chocolate coating removed for identification purposes

I reckon the short one is from a standard 90?

The long one is a Salisbury rear?

Am i correct?

When asking about V8 90 halfshfts at the local Bearmach shop, they didnt have any details on availabilty

And remember that proper V8 90 shafts are 24 spline at both ends, so that 10 spline one you've got, aint V8 90 rear!

The Auction clearly stated "Brand New 24 Spline V8 90 rear Half shafts" The piccies had rubber covers over the splines like new one have.

Oh well dropped a bo££ock on this purchase ...........Gonna have to go through the Eblag process....Bla Bla Bla

I bought a V8 shaft from bearmach in west swindon a while back, it was only £19 odd. pretty cheap. and its still running in my Tdi 90 with lockers in, so lasted well.

Looks like thats where i shall be going to in the end? But Old Sodders may turn up something or other?

Just been contacted by the seller, all sorted hopefully?
