Was wondering about Map Scource and it's range of maps.

Is that the big old one with voice, colour, auto re-routing.

I've got one, bought it in 2002.

Works very well, but my maps do need updating now, especially

driving along the A1 and A30 It didn't like the fact that I kept

taking detours into fields...

I think as standard you get the whole of europe, and I find the maps

very good. Only annoying bit is entering an address as if the format

isn't "streetname, number, postcode, town"

ie the address is the name of a farm you can only enter town and

postcode.

Yup that's the one. Picked one up the other day for not a great deal and was playing with it the other night.

I shall look into updating the maps et al...

BTW Garmin told me this morning that Map Scource is on version 11 as of this January and you can get a freebie if you sign on to the web site
