Big_John Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Hi all, I bought a 90 300Tdi Hardtop a couple of weeks ago and am in the process of converting to stationwagon-ish so that the kids can go in the back, hence my first posting here... I've ordered the front facing seats from Exmoor Trim, should be another week or so for them, and now looking towards windows. Has anyone fitted the Bearmach ones - BA 181 they're described as 'as OEM' in the catalogue. I've been warned off cheap windows as they rattle and don't seal properly, does anyone know if these are indeed as OEM or is that just a marketing line? Thanks all, I've already learn't a lot off here and will definately be sticking around! John Quote

FWIW we got a set of BA181 fitted to our hardtop a couple of years ago. No leaks, no rattles -- totally troublefree to date. Completely happy with them and no complaints at all. Doing rather better than friends of ours in fact who bought a brand new TD5 station wagon about four years ago and who have had nothing but trouble with their side windows leaking... Cheers, Quote

Cheers, This one of my next jobs on my 90 300tdi. Would you or some other kind soul take a picture of the inside 'fitting' of these side windows in a Hardtop panel. I've seen that the outside flange would cover a dodgy cut on the outside but what about the inside? As I was hopeing to just fit the windows with out any CSW interior trim. Thanks, Ade. Quote

I'll be over there at the weekend and will take some pics then. Cheers, Quote
