Happyoldgit Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 Out and about this morning looking at properties I came across this beastie lurking in the undergrowth (excuse the obviously carp phone pics but I didn't have my camera with me)... You might be able to make out a series one truck cab. Looks pretty complete although obviously it hasn't moved in a few years. Next time I'm down that way I'll make a point of having my camera with me. Quote
Happyoldgit Posted October 31, 2007 Author Posted October 31, 2007 Long wheelbase by the look of it too! Certainly is. There's a Ferguson T20 nearby too. Quote
rtbarton Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 Certainly is. There's a Ferguson T20 nearby too. Is that the "Grey Fergie?" If so mount an armed guard, there can't be many more finds like this left. Quote
Happyoldgit Posted October 31, 2007 Author Posted October 31, 2007 Yes grey Fergie. There's a chap down the road here who is a serious collector of same and has a heated barn full of them - all (over) restored and spotless. Quote

I think a GF was the first mechanical device I ever saw. It used to work a field behind our house. IMHO they're one of nicest looking machines ever made. Quote
Les Henson Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 Poor thing - looks so neglected sat there. You should restore it MOG - something to do in your dotage Les. Quote
