Hybrid_From_Hell
The arches on the back of the 90 have been er..."Trimmed" a lot !. I no longer have the flange that runs around the wheel arch lip (actaully quite of lot of this has ben cut off too ), so the arch is now only properly "Clipped" on the 2 sides, the top is, weell, theres nothing really there, the arch (ali) and the arch (rubber) both trimmed hard back.... My plan is too glue these on, and then use the few clips there are as well.... What to use is the Question ? I have thought of either the stuff they use for putting in windscreens on cars, oe maybe silicone sealer ?...Jon W mentioned something called "Tigergrip" but can't find that ? In todays wonderful Hi tech world what a good "Glue" / "Stuff" to glue these on with, basically I expect whatever it is to "be a one off" and I do not expect to have to remove them again, in fact if I do it will be due to damage, so I would expect the arch to be either KIA or killed removbing it !! Ideas of whats out there then ? Nige
will_warne
Nige, I'd go for a contact adhesive. Its rubber based so has a bit of flex but it won't let go easily if you use it properly. The only problem is you need to get the position right first time, once its made contact you can't reposition it.
dollythelw
Tiger grip is good but you end up wearing more of it on you than you get on the panel Uncle Haroldite after a good clean with thinners or better still rivet the buggers on? LandyManLuke
Sikaflex may be what you want, it remains semi flexible when it sets and sticks like sh!t to a blanket. used a lot in marine environments so it should be up to the job. Lara
Agree with Luke, Sikaflex, Terroson, Tec7 etc is ideal Lara.
MogLite
Yeah Sikaflex is what you need. Looks and acts like silicon, but is a structural adhesive. About £10 a tube. Its used in the building of Ibex's FWIW.
Hybrid_From_Hell
where / who stocks this stuff ? Nige
LandyManLuke
chandleries, but there's probably not many of them near you..... just googled it and there's quite a few online chandleries that stock it. Luke
Happyoldgit
I agree - Sikaflex is the stuff to use. Alternatives are Carbond & Tiger Seal.
BogMonster
I don' know if it is the same stuff as some of those products mentioned above but whatever they use to stick bonded windscreens in is incredibly strong stuff!

SteveG
Nige, I'd go for a contact adhesive. Did anyone see the Scrapheap challenge when about an hour to go the 'expert' used contact adhesive to stick a truck inner tube to their ice machine. Half way round applying it inner tube goes POP!! Classic- the looks on the other members of the team. Steve
white90
Steve I did and it was very funny what a waste of time... Nigel how about not cutting too much off leaving them flapping wildly? or go for the rubber strip style arches and bin the Defender ones?
