FridgeFreezer Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Does it have proper springs like the sultana? Quote
sheeppimp Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Does it have proper springs like the sultana? pretty sure it is a rebadged/styled sultana (does that make it a currant or a raisin maybe) me like too , tried to get work to let me have one as my next car but no luck Quote
TheRecklessEngineer Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Does it have proper springs like the sultana? Stands to raisin... Quote
western Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 That's really UGLY I've used 2 Santana's over the last 2 years Not very nice at all, far more cheap plastic than a 110, can you guess I don't like them. so Santana absorbed by Iveco ?? Quote
Mark90 Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 so Santana absorbed by Iveco ?? Dunno but they've been using an Iveco engine for a while now. Quote
Guest diesel_jim Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Nice side decals..... one step up from scrapiron barbed wire? Quote
Kev Baldwin Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 based on Santana 'Based' It IS a Santana. Santana bought out by Iveco. A marriage made in heaven. Albeit a rather fragile crappy shiny plastic heaven.... "Hey you get off my cloud-it might break!" Quote
ibexman Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Nice side decals..... one step up from scrapiron barbed wire? Theyre tatoos not decals Quote
Holyzeus Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 front looks better than the santana but that aint saying much Quote
marsie Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Theyre tatoos not decals Just wat i was thinking,i am sure its the same design as "our lasses" tramp stamp Paul Quote
Doctor Who ? Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Hmmm this thread sums it up completely ... nice "Evolutionary shape ?BUT ! Hey ! but who "Did" evolution. If "Ant Broke, leave the *ook ALONE" ... It (the Defender) WORKS ... Quote
ciderman Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Iveco , Great , Look out in the mirrors for the doors fallin off , and the carp wiring looms . Quote
western Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 the only thing I liked about the 2 Santa's I had last year was the door seals, they have a lip on the inside which would stop any rain water from the inner roof gutter getting into the cab & on to the driver or passengers legs/clothes. reckon they would fit a 90/110. davidlandy Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 saw these new(ish) motors at the european road transport show - took some pics with my phone so excuse the poor quality the rims look good! Quote
D9OSV Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 Love the King cab, Wish Landrover could look to the future when others are so obviously looking towards them Jim Quote
Jen Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Quite like it... but hate the front bumper... I do have a thing for evil looking black cars though. Anyone got more pics of the SWB? Interior? Quote
stobbie Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 a king cab would also be nice for me, too tall for a truck cab :-( Quote
Projectblue Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 woooa that's ugly. I didn't think it possible to get worse than the Sultan-ar but they did it. Especially the graphics Quote
Steve H Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 Can't say I like the look of the Massif, some of the Iveco trucks are a bit visually challenged too, especially the normal control ones we see out here. Have to say though that I always liked the look of the Santana, more so the later ones with the simpler bumpers & vertical tail lights. Can't say about the interior, we don't get them in NZ. The design on the Massif is actually a stylised Maori tattoo, Iveco were major sponsors of the All Blacks world cup campaign, not that it did them much good. Steve Quote
Michele Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 saw these ...the rims look good! Rims by Equipe, which prepared a few Massifs for expedition...soon on TV I guess... Iveco engine...yum...! Quote
CosZuki Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 Did i read write??? LR owners bashing build quality of another manufacturer?? I reckon its got ugly beauty Quote
darrennils Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 woooa that's ugly. I didn't think it possible to get worse than the Sultan-ar but they did it. Especially the graphics My Santana looked ok and was brilliant off road Quote
