SeriousIIa Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Just swopped my LT77 for a fresh one (110 200Tdi) from ashcroft. But now my gearlever is cluttering??(rambling, clinging or how you call that?) when I'm driving down the high way. Can't remember if it was already there with the old box or not...... It seems like there is a little bit of play that causes this sound. In my series this is solved by renewing the o ring on the gearlever ball. But how is this with a LT77, is there also a O ring? Or is there a different solution? Hoping for a quick fix, I'm leaving for Dakar in 10 days..... Cheers Bowy Quote
D9OSV Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 There should be a hard plastic cup that the gearlever locates into. Easy to tell if it is not there, the gear lever will feel very loose and vague..... That is more than usual Jim Quote
