simonr Posted November 5, 2007 Author Posted November 5, 2007 Anne Summers ? Oh Dear!........ I'm running two transfer boxes in series - and hence have two hi/low select levers side by side. At the moment it looks untidy - and will let mucho water spray up into the cab. A nice boot seems like a good option. When the batteries for my camera have re-charged, I'll take a photo. Si Quote
muddy Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 go down to your nearest plant dealers, backhoe jacks use them. or telehandler jacks. Quote

I dare say there will be a reseller of Currie components who does not have the same sense of humour and might just stick one in a jiffy bag - but I've not found him yet! If yours happened to fall in to a jiffy bag, I dare say my paypal account could leak a little in your direction? Si Quote

GBMUD Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 If your balls have gone those colours then you should have had a rubber boot on a bit sooner! Chris Quote
streaky Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 What about 2 x Series Hi-Lo gaitors mounted side by side? That would do the same job wouldn't it? Quote
simonr Posted November 7, 2007 Author Posted November 7, 2007 What about 2 x Series Hi-Lo gaitors mounted side by side? That would do the same job wouldn't it? I'd considered a few options like that however, in one position, the two sticks are very close together so it would be a case of cutting up & stitching back together a pair such that they will have a single circumference for mounting. Good suggestion though! Si Quote

Astro_Al Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 Si - its hard to see from the pic, but is the boot gonna work for those levers in all positions? They look a bit low to teh floor, and possibly too far apart? (Its hard to tell). You want to see if mine works and then replace it or give it back? Cheers, Al. Quote
simonr Posted November 8, 2007 Author Posted November 8, 2007 You want to see if mine works and then replace it or give it back? Thanks for the offer - but they are pretty cheap. If Kev gets me one and it doesn't fit - I have another plan for it! There isn't very much movement on the levers - no more than 50mm end to end in any direction. Si Quote
