russ1
Hello ppl Am in the middle of rebuilding me 90 and have thort about moving the rad to the rear. Few questions i am abit unsure about Whats the best route for the pipe work? Will i also have to move the header tank to the rear aswell? As the 200tdi rad has a oil cooler would it be best to route the oil pipes to the rear aswell or just put a stand alone one in the front? Thanks yet again. T1G UP
the header tank needs to be at the highest point?! so yes the tank will have to be mounted up in th rear.As for pipes i'd go ali or stainless if you've the budget, copper will do it but very soft and flexi's for either end. Thanks yet again. my pipework runs down the side of the gearbox and over the top of the hand brake drum theres just enough room on a tomcat so should be plenty on a 90 header tank can go any where as long as it's above the rad and engine for my oil cooler i just got some pipe fittings and a length of copper pipe bent the copper onto a zig zag mounted it in the air flow up front (behind the grille) and conected it to the original pipes seems to work fine mike
